-Isaac celebrated his 14th birthday! Soccer is his first love, but he enjoys playing basketball and baseball as well. Isaac is well-liked at school and Levi G is still his close friend. Isaac is smart, has a sly sense of humor, cares about others and is a fun/teasing brother to his siblings. We love you Isaac!

-Our family camped at Van Buren State Park for 2 nights with the Petersons camper. It was a fun trip down memory lane as we spent time around South Haven

Isaac with the church trip

-We had a family celebration for Hez's 1st birthday at the outdoor pool. We also celebrated Melody's 1st birthday at Moran Park.
-We watched the Saugatuck fireworks. One of Carl's clients let Carl use a boat slip downtown Saugatuck for the holiday weekend. So the Gabrielse and us drove our boats down and used the slip for the evening. We played games and ate food on the marina pier/boardwalk and also walked around downtown. The fireworks show was a little small, but it was a fun evening!
-Isaac went on our church intergenerational service trip to Nebraska for a week. They were helping a widow whose house had flooded 2 years ago. The group did alot of property clean up and they did some fun activities as well. The stories Isaac told us- he fell off a ladder and narrowly avoided nails sticking up from wood on the ground and he and Levi Rozema chopping wood while it was muddy so they kept slipping while they were swinging the axe. You know, stories that make a mom cringe.
-Lexi and Stephen attended Forest School day camp for a week
-Julia went to tennis camp and two art camps
-Stephen and Lexi did swimming lessons
-Isaac did soccer camp
-Stacy took 3 MSW School social worker classes online thru MSU from April-August
-Stacy and Karin took Caleb, Jacob, Ashton and Nathan to Cedar Point. We drove down, spent the night in a hotel and then the boys did Cedar Point while Karin and I went shopping, did some kayaking and relaxing.

-We rented a house on Lake of the Ozarks with the Gabrielse and DeWitts for a week. We towed 2 boats and the waverunners between 3 vehicles. The weather was good, the water was warm, the dock was amazing, house was big enough/nice, lots of water activities, the waverunners worked most of the week, played games, adults took the boat out to eat a couple times, everyone got along well and lots of relaxing. A great vacation!
