-We began the month with the stay at home order being lifted so kids could play outside with neighbor friends again, a wonderful thing for all of us!
-Nate and Caleb did some work on the house. The dining room door had to be replaced and the deck powerwashed and re-stained.
-Nate took the kids backpacking to Nordhouse Dunes for 2 nights. The water was cold so not much swimming this time but they still had fun hiking and hanging at the campsite.
-While Nate and the kids were backpacking, I went to visit Steph and Ben. Steph was in the last couple weeks of her pregnancy. And then a couple weeks later, baby Hezekiah (Zeke) was born!
-We bought a 1996 21 ft Crownline boat with a seating capacity of 12 (maybe 12 kids). We wanted something that would fit our family plus a couple friends. We usually launch at Kollen Park and go out on Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan. The only time one can ski on a smooth Lake Mac is early morning- like 7:30 am. It has been fun to meet up with other friends with boats at boater's beach on Lake Michigan. Caleb enjoys wakeboarding, Isaac likes waterskiing and all the kids enjoy tubing.
-With a boat and anticipating more drivers(cars) in our future, we extended our driveway alongside the garage.
-The Terhune family invited us to their house for the pool/pond/animals. After the stay at home order, it was so nice to go somewhere and do summer activities.
-We celebrated Nate and Grandpa J on Father's Day with grilling out at Tim/Jenny's backyard. It was so nice to have a family gathering after not seeing each other for a couple months.
