Cardale and Ryan enjoying the beachFor the 4th of July weekend we went to my grandparent's cottage in WI. We enjoyed more time with family and on the water. Nate has the waterskiing bug and was a little sore after the weekend. I also enjoyed waterskiing and even watched my Dad ski again. He's 55 and still has skills.:) Cardale spent the weekend with Ryan and Jenn and had a great time.
Today we spent the morning at Gun Lake with my parents, Ryan, Jenn and Cardale. This is the first summer that Caleb really enjoys the water. He spent almost the whole time splashing around. Isaac wants nothing to do with the water. He is quite happy playing in the sand, thank you very much. I felt like I was looking into the future today- where Ryan and Jenn are Cardale's parents and our families hang out sometimes. It was a good feeling and I pray that future comes true. The court finally scheduled the termination hearing for August 20. Please keep Cardale and everyone involved in your prayers!

I'm glad it worked out on Saturday, to be honest, I was a little hesitant, but it was a great morning and it's always a great time with you guys! It'll be nice for C to have lots of love in his life as he grows up and who doesn't love extended families!?!?
It's definitely a "mom thing" to not be in the pics! :)
